At NEUTEX, we know that the products and services we provide are only as good as the people in charge of providing them. We also know that nothing matters as much as family. It was this philosophy that NEUTEX President and CEO John Higgins employed when he set out to build the NEUTEX team, starting at the most logical place…family.
John Higgins (President / CEO)
Since the age of 16, John has led his companies to successfully do business with a myriad of developers, school districts, management companies, large national retail chain stores and property owners with assets worth over $100 million. His 25 years of executive level experience include the management of more than 150 employees as well as the marketing and administration of multiple construction and development projects of $5+ million.
Mr. Higgins also has vast experience with builders and material manufacturers ensuring that he will be one of our most valuable assets in facilitating the distribution of NEUTEX Lighting™ products throughout a large network of developers, project managers and construction companies.
Mark Lewis (COO)
Mark is Co-founder and shareholder of NEUTEX Advanced Energy Group™. He held various salesmanagement and leadership positions across several industries that include executive search, transportation, investor relations, and non-profit organizations. A 20 year veteran of sales and marketing, Mark has national experience in building partnerships, sales channels and sales teams. Mark is responsible for the NEUTEX efforts in new business development, strategic planning, community, and client relations. Mark serves Houston as a member of the Greater Houston Partnership Green Buildings Committee and was awarded lifetime membership for his service to the organization.
Mark is a transplant to Houston originally from Chicago. When not lighting up Texas, Mark spends time with his wife volunteering at various organizations in Houston.
Mark Sam (CFO)
Mark has more than 25 years of financial experience as a CPA in both private and public accounting. Mark also holds a BA in economics from Washington & Jefferson College and his years in auditing, management consulting, and as a corporate controller have given him experience and insight into businesses with revenues ranging from $5 to $100+ million.
Chris Vennard (Chief Marketing Officer)
A certified forensic audiologist and trained as a recording engineer, Mr. Vennard has held various technical and leadership positions in the entertainment and communication industries for close to 17 years. His experience spans multiple disciplines including promotion, performance, recording, and marketing in the music and digital video industries. He gained valuable experience in international markets as the producer, recording engineer, voice actor and quality control agent for domestic conversion and production of multiple DVD’s.
As NEUTEX’s™ Chief Marketing Officer, Mr. Vennard oversees all aspects of the company’s brand image, graphic design, written copy, marketing, and public relations.
James Higgins (Vice President of Operations)
James is an electrical engineer by education and trade with over 20 years of experience in residential and commercial construction. His background includes project management roles at First Response Restoration as well as Prizm Construction. At NEUTEX Lighting™, he will be focused on the operation, manufacturing, production and quality control of the NEUTEX Lighting™ product line.
